I would like to duplicate what this OP did but add a few other sensors. Could you PM what I would need to get part number wise. My car is at Spec-Ops right now.
Digging up an old thread but a couple of people had some questions on the install so ill answer them here.
How has it held up?
It looks exactly like it did the day I finished the install. Zero maintenance. The filler and paint has not been effected by the sun or cleaners.
Advice:
If I had to do it again I would have soldered it right the first time lol
. Not to the back of the plug for the boards but in the plug itsel. (I have the first attempt pictures in the OP so don't reference those). If you do it like I did the first time you we see why you shouldn't (the solder joints will not last). Or just buy the connector Zeitronix mention in an earlier post.
Use flexible, fine gauge wire. It will help with mounting the boards and not breaking the solder joints when moving the boards around independently.
Use a cell phone screen protector on the LCD screen since there is nothing there to prevent it from scratches.
PM me if you have questions
