Finally got my Zeitronix done!

We are planning to use ribbon kind o wire but the connectors need to be redesinged on both boards. We will have pieces next week. I will post pictures.

OK, we got a right cable for this. The cable lenght is 8". We will solder it all for you and test it. This is offered as a remote LCD mount kit. Price is the same as regular LCD but you will not receive the LCD case. It's a special order non returnable item.
Notice that pictures are taken on blue ESD mat. Car is the worst ESD environment. You can generate 100000s volts of charge just moving your *** on on a seat. It does not take much to zapp open guts electronics. If you ever got your finger zapped after getting out of the car you know what I'm talking about. Please post pictures of your installation.

I'm deffinately considering doing this! To the OP, how much cutting do you have to do if I would want to just have the zeitronix display only? Also where did you get those buttons and how did you wire them?
If you want to make another one, lmk! Lol

Would you be willing to do this a Zeitronix already purchased? If paid for shipping both ways? If so what would the cost be.

This is such a great idea!

i know this thread is super old, but can u post a picture of the gauge head on? i want to see if it fits completely in the clock hole or if it gets cut off a little bit.
