How long did that take? I spent well over 100hrs polishing my GSXR from 180-2000grit (All by hand) then used McGuire’s aluminum polish, everyone thought it was chrome but wow it was a pain to keep up with. You might want to think about putting a clear coat on that or use Zoop Seal it’s like a clear coat for polish. Summit racing sells it

not long at all. about an hour of wetsanding and then the polishing with a buffer took a bit. Yeah my friends put some kind of protectant to make the shine last longer. But I bet it will be a pain to upkeep haha. Good thing I still have the yellow hood

I wonder if some kind of chrome vinyl would look bad on the roof and trunk?

Yea it was my first time polishing, now I know to use a buffer. (not about 10 rolls of toilet paper) you can Google search and find a lot of different vinyl, or can go to a web page that does the full car wrap, I’m sure they have all different colors to try like chrome; at least if you don’t like them you can take it off.

Why? Truck drivers run around with freakin' chrome mudflaps flapping in the breeze blinding people behind them.

Most of the members on this forum a carbon copies of each other, so dont mind any negative feedback.

IMO its very original and pimp! It matches the polished wheels.
