mmm i get you. if another car did something stupid and hit him, I would be ok. But no when one else is involved, it would be hard to let go. I commend you on your patience/forgiveness but if I spent my hard earned time and money on an evo, and I had to start over and deal with insurance bs due to a friends inability to drive....ehhh
lol i was thinking the same thing haaa. but glad your ok and i understand your logic of its just a car but some people barely get finance for the car and it could be hard to get another. if you cop another one then cool but i for one have to much invested in mine to wreck it and be like whatever ill get another im not starting over again.
That definitely does NOT look look totaled. Did your insurance company say it was totaled??
I'm asking because my evo 9 mr is in the shop right now from a recent accident that is much much worse than what you have. I went through a snow/ice bank, down into a ditch almost rolling it, hitting a dirt mound at the at the bottom, and finally back up the ditch, parking it in a lot of brush
My damages:
front end- bumper, all cooling(radiator, intercooler, condenser, oil cooler), crossmembers, headlight, fender, frame
front suspenesion
passenger side door
both side skirts
floor pan
exhaust
bent both rear quaters
rear suspension
rear bumper
...and a bunch of little parts
My insurance company is currently fixing it. The body shop said it is a valuable car and very fixable. My damages sound bad but I worked at a bodyshop and i agree that it is very fixable.
