Looks good. I did the exact opposite, I tinted the covers so there is less light and then I made a SS bracket that pushes the top part of the plate outward about 3/4" so the light shines behind it so you cant see the plate at night, but it still shines light so it looks somewhat legit. lol

$5.99 is a lot cheaper than I've been seeing these. Anyone else gettin' them for that cheap or is the "real thang" 20+?

LED bulbs on the rear of my Evo for two years now. Makes the car a higher caliber car IMO instead of the dingy yellow hyper whites.

Go ahead and make it easier for 5-0 to pull you over... I'll be doing the exact opposite with this:

I'd rather not pay $23 bucks plus shipping for two PIAA bulbs if I can find something cheaper. Is it 168, or 194? Or a different number? It can't be two different numbers that's just how the seller posted it.

And when it comes to police, I don't think LEDs make the plate any more noticeable than traditional bulbs. The average bulb still illuminates the plate, LED lighting just looks cleaner. Don't forget, when a cop is tailing you, his headlights will do the job of making your plates readable
