for some reason I can't believe you put falken azenis on the neon. I DD a 2003 silver neon w/ 122,200 miles while modding mine. It never felt so good to get good MPGs. lol

Dang Eric, I go out sick for a couple days and your thread went and blowd up! I haven't heard from Mikey in a few but it sounds like Aaron won't be there this Friday. I'm not sure what Mikey's plans are at this point.

I got that DCSport dp/tp combo for you, not sure if you saw my text.

I was really hoping to get a COP kit put in the car and dyno'd at ER this week but it sounds like both Sparktech and Spoolinup are a bit too far out. If you get yours from Freddie do you think I could get it and pay Freddie for another one (assuming he is down for that)?

I'll text or email you when back on the main computer.

Jesus this thread has been steathled in the Show and Shine forum... I rearely ever come in here...

Dan, Matt at spoolinup is actually waiting on CF plate for the kits, you can contact him by PM and he can probably build you one with an aluminum plate if you need it pronto... I gave my word that I would not replicate his kit, and I will keep my word. The only reason that Eric got the other DIY kit I had was because it was cleared with Matt... I was about to ship it back to him...

Eric the valve cover looks dopetastic! ANFTMFW
I wish I was still up there to help you out with this build my friend, I could really learn a lot from that, and I am sure you would like the help

It was good talking with you tonight bud, I miss ya, let me know when you and Gig are gonna come down this summer!

Ban Stick FTL...

^honesty got the better of him. He'll be back in a day or two.

Dammit Freddie! Eric got me all hot and bothered the other day when we spoke and he told me to ask you to build one; he must not have realized your agreement with Matt.

I was leaning toward Matt's setup, but then time became the essence so I tried the other route via ER, but that doesn't seem like it is panning out either. Basically I am planning to go down to ER with Mikey and figured it would be a good time to hop on the dyno with a COP and see what the difference is with no other changes to the car. Ah well, now may just not be the time.

Dan, I can build you one, but I will get all the parts from Matt. The DIY kit is $150 + shipping and then I will have to source the coils and build the harness... I have to source the coils first because depending on which coils I get, depends on which hardware he sends. To be honest his used kits are priced near perfectly for the time to manufacture the harness, and when you factor in used coil prices, if you are doing it all yourself. He also now uses heat shrink over the ends of the fiberglass cladding to prevent fraying

Thanks for the info Freddie. I did see you only saved $20 or so on the DIY. And then Matt went and stole your idea!

So is Mikey set on Monday? Mug-fuggah won't call a ninja back! You really have a soft spot for neons!
