I can't handle having cracked tail lamps that I can visually see. It's the perfectionist in me.

 

a little JB Weld should fix that right up (if you have the pieces that broke off)

I have the same problem, but it wasn't worth waiting another 2 weeks to ship to Japan and ship back, so I kept them. It is definitely noticeable, but I don't worry about it too much. If it starts to bug me too much, I can always put the Altezzas back on. If you know they come like that, though, definitely get a discount. $200 sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Install was a breeze, except for that damn trunk liner crap. I cracked it on both sides and lost 2 clips, but whatever. I was in a hurry!
