My first car.....an EVO 8.
Ok, ok, it's my first car, but not auto.
My name is Mike and a little over a month ago I got this 2005 Evolution VIII, Apex Silver, GSR/SSL w/ 31k miles.
It was a spur of the moment kind of deal. I always liked STI's and EVO's but never imagined owning one. I loved the sound of the STI's, but it seems like everyone has one. And I like the fact that the EVO has a useable rear seat, big trunk, and lots of potential for relatively cheap.
I drove by a large lot, and saw this EVO there. I decided I would test drive it as I probably would not have another chance to.
I drove it and had to have it. It rocked my world.
mmm..SSL
I have already done a few modifications to it including-
Buschur 3" TBE / Magnaflow
K&N Typhoon
AEM Boost / Uego
I have a Walbro 255 and Grimmspeed EBC that I'm going to put in when I install some GSC S1's / Fidanza gears and 750cc squirters.
Thanks!

sure, it has AWD but that doesn't mean you can go as fast as you want around turns.. I've known about 4 local people that have totalled their Evos by thinking they were racecar drivers on some back roads. And btw, if you're thinking about going off-roading.. still take the Jeep. Your evo will most likely get stuck and/or you'll ruin VERY expensive drivetrain parts. If your own money is going into this car then I'm sure you'll be just fine as most kids who get cars that their parents pay for usually don't respect them the same way they would if it was their own hard-earned money going into it. Be smart, be safe and enjoy!
