abs is NOT a problem if its a street car??? where in gods name do you get your info?? i daily drive my rs with no abs... drives and brakes beautifully..and yes, including panic stops! and on the track, non-abs as better! and for those of us who actually put our cars on the track, thats why we want the RS! and no, insurance isnt higher! the RS is simply put, a very RAW car! but it isnt for everyone! and anyone who makes statements like you, simply dont understand!! but thats the great thing about having different trim levels.. you enjoy your MR or GSR, and we will enjoy our RS' in the end, we all drive Evos

if you dont get it, you never will... the RS isnt a stripped model.. it was purposely designed for people to buy and turn into track cars! so what they lack in comfort, they by far make up for in trackworthyness right out of the box! why pay all that extra money for crap your gonna remove anyways? that was mitsubishis thought when creating the RS... and as for the MR being "faster" than the RS.... there are simply some of us who could care less about 1/4 mile times.. its not what the evo was made for! but if you wanna really see why some of us prefer the RS over the other models...take them to a road coarse, and see which one performs the best out of the box! to some of us..thats what matters!

on a side note, i have a mutt.. part RS, part GSR... lol... needed my power windows, power mirrors, stereo, and wing but the rest is all RS there are just some things i need in a daily driver..lol

as for the OP... sorry i got off topic..the RS looks great! and the parts you are acumolating look amazing!!!
