Is it REALLY that hard to clean the floormats? I havent ever had to do anything but vacuum mine to make them look like new, and I am not uptight about getting mud and stuff on them. The color pretty much dictates that you dont really have to worry about stains. After like 95k in the car, i finally wore a hole through mine where my heel sits. Thats when you hit Ebay and buy a new set (OEM) for like 60 bucks.

In short, they are floormats. They are meant to protect the carpet. Dont worry about messing them up.

Oh yeah, if they do get stained....hit em with a lil cleaner, pressure wash them, shop vac them, and let dry. Works wonders.

when you get aluminum mats the dirt will slide off and get the carpet/rest of car dirty

That only seems practical if you have an all out race car and have ripped the carpet out

why not just spray it with rhyno liner??? (or however it spelled)

HAHA...

Get some all season matts with a lip all the way around so water and dirt dont roll onto the carpet, and every time you get out, grab the matt and shake it out.

Man you can just make those yourself. Get some raw material from Home Depot and some Tin Snips and youll be good to go.

Someone do this and do a write up on how to complete it all i want to see pictures of the process.
