Yeah i know i need rims just trying to figure the offset. looking to buy volk ce28n 18x9.5 with a 28+ offset front and 34+ offset rear. on the volk site it says 28+ will clear the front but the 34+ in the rear does not. it just says it will clear for the evo X. but i read on this fourm that this set up works and clears rears, and that i would not have to roll the fenders. if anyone has any info about the offset and if this set up would work PLEASE chime in i would like to order the rims this week.

Where did you get the coolant overflow tank from?

Have you decided what suspension you are gonna end up with or are you planning on running these wheels on a Stock Suspension..? If you are gonna drop the car, will it be on Coils or Springs?

If you are gonna drop the car, lets say on Swift Spec R Springs(which have a mild drop), than you are better off going with a +28 all around. The reason being is that you will still need a spacer if you plan to use a 265/35 tire with the +34. The spacer is not needed for caliper clearance but for strut perch clearance. So in the end you end up with a lower effective offset if you run a the +34 with a 5 mm spacer which will put you at +29. So just do the +28.

There are several people running 18x9.5 RE30s and CE28ns in the +28 with no fender mods... AS LONG AS THE CAR IS NOT SLAMMED.

If you end up with Coilovers than you will have alot more room to play with.

As for a tire, you can minimize the chance of rubbing even less by running a 255/35 instead so you need to decide what tire to use.

Use the search button, there are a bunch of people running this size and offset. Its a considered a pretty "conservative" semi aggressive offset for an 18x9.5 so you shouldn't have to many issues if any with rubbing without rolling the fenders.

well for now i was going to keep the stock suspension and see how she looked. the tire size i was going to get where the 225/35. but if i was going to get new shocks i would go with coilovers.

I hope you meant 255 instead of a 225, on an 18x9.5 wheels that is quite a stretch. If you are gonna go with coils then no need for new shocks as they come with them.

If you are gonna run these wheels on a stock suspension no mods needed. You can fit 20 inch wheels under our stock 4x4 truck clearance
