CF vs RS trunks
^^ Sharkbite, you have a beautiful car. I am also rockin the all black, which would look great with some CF, but given my situation... it seems like my $$$ could be better used else where... like i said though, your car definitely sells the Black and CF look! Awesome car!

I have a seibon trunk and it fits awesome, better then factory id say. I had a RS trunk before hand and i had to remove the trunk springs to avoid it shooting up when i pop the trunk anyway. Its all really in how you are gonna take care of the carbon trunk and the time to make sure it fits right. Then again maybe i lucked out.

a few lbs on a streetcar is absolutely useles. most cf pieces are wet cf laid over fiberglass skeletons, and have nominal weight savings. my vis hood and trunk weigh roughly the same, give or take a few lbs. on a sidenote, get the cf because its just badass.
I am running a Vis cf trunk wasnt too bad to get to fit right, but now its right on. And completely smooth no key hole or wing holes. And as for the popping up just take out the torsion bars.
i have the vis cf trunk good fitment but top needs recleared after a year not a big deal but everyone damn take off ONE torsion bar and it pops up nice and slow about 9 inches which is plenty...
I had the wing removed and holes filled and painted before my car ever left the dealer. The wing is cool but it perfectly in my rear line of sight it was making me crazy that I had to move around in the seat to see what was behind me. I also had all the badging removed. It blends in with all the traffic nicely. cost was 450$
