Car is SOLD Thanks for all the pm's. I will update the list of mods available.

I traded the car in for a loaded 2010 C63. I will drive it until my new 2012 C63 P031 car arrives in the Fall. I really wanted it to go to someone here but I keep hearing the same story, "I need to sell my car first". Im not making fun because I was the same guy looking at CLK BS's. I need to sell mine first. So I just took the easy route and bought from a dealer. The CLK BS carry a huge premium at delaers so the C63 made more sense plus it is the better family car. I wish the 2012 was available now but it will give me something to look forward to. If anyone needs any help with stuff shoot me a pm anytime. I will be trying to help out more instead of driving one right now. An RS will definitely come in the near future though.

Here is the C in case anyone wants to see what I'll be rockin for a daily...

Wow man. Can't believe you got rid of the Evo to go back luxury. I thought you had already got that out of your system with the Audi. lol. I know you'll be back with another sick *** Evo sooner or later. Can't wait to see another RS project!

Its a love hate relationship LOL.... What I have finally figured out after 5 of them is that I like to play with them and not drive them daily LOL... One of my biggest concerns recently is that people(mostly kids) are killing the value of these things. Everyone wants to buy them for 18K and people are doing it and its killing the market. I just wanted to get out before I lost big. You can find RS's for 17-18K now. I cant figure out how so many people have 40 plus K in these things and then sell for 25K. I have seen some ridiculous deals. One I cant even mention but it was a solid probably 75K build go for less than 20K. Wow, I want to have fun and not throw the money down the street. I got out safe on this one and will start with a more realistic 18K evo from the get go... Just ranting. Im sad a little but happy that I made a smart decision. Money is back in the bank and I have an awesome daily.

to be continued...............

imo those ones that go for 18k are either 03's and high mileage, or later models with something messed up. I searched and searched when i was looking for my 2nd, and all the cheap ones were shady. I dont think anyone who has a nice evo whether its old or new is letting it for cheap. The only time iam welling to sell for a loss is if mitsu comes back with the 4g63 in a newer light model and that is a dream at this point!

Good luck with the new Benz Brian. I would of gotten you're ride but I do not have the funds and money is tight plus I would have to see my car first

So I took the smart decision and once I know I can afford an Evo, I will.

I love the C63 and I would trade it for the Evo as a daily any day. Nice choice.

Best thing to do is return it to close to stock before selling. Then sell the parts and the car separate. Mods don't add too much value to the call no matter what the seller likes to believe. And considering year, trim and mileage the most used Evo's SHOULD be going for under 20k. That's just their value especially the Evo 8's (which is the majority of used Evo's).

You may not have lost much on the Evo but the AMG's going to be a different story. AMG's go down in value at a much faster rate than Evo's. I'm not sure you made a smart decision. You're going to lose like 10k when you trade this one for the 2011 and then god knows how much when it's time to sell the 2011. I would never buy AMG's new unless i was filthy rich because you take such a big hit selling them.

i believe he worked a deal with the dealership to trade this one in for what he paid for it so no loss
