Chris Cessna's 9 Second STM Built Stock-Motor RS
Yes, minor stretching of the ARP studs, not a total failure. It was on it's way out though, you can stop by proformance if you want. Local guys, real knowledgeable built a few alcohol 7 second dragsters. I'll post up that photo once I get home

I find myself repeatedly watching that one video becuase of its awesome background music. It gets me pumped up. I form a mental picture of rocky and ivan drago beating each other senseless. There's nothing like a nice young, oiled-up dolph lundgren theme song to compliment a bad-*** evo.
Hah, good catch. There is absolutely no way that a head gasket could separate, and fluid wouldn't force itself through. A fluid only needs maybe a .001" gap to seep through. I also don't know how you would be able to tell this happened, since the second you undo a head stud, the gasket will fluff back up to close to its original state, it won't stay flat. You would have to measure the distance between the head and block, before and after re-installing the exact same head gasket with to test for any differences, since each head gasket is bound to be .001 - .0001" different just from materials.
