can you downgrade from hid to conventional bulbs

Is there a way to downgrade from hid bulbs/ballasts? I have a 03 with a bad ballast but I have 2 evo 9 headlights assemblies sitting in my garage ready to go in... I tried rewiring but there must be something im missing....HELP

uhhh you know you can just Buy an HID kit for only 50 bucks right? Go to http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/101/
The bulb type for HID housings are D2S or 9006 for halogen housings; you should have the first type. So pick out the color temp you want and you're done. The kit comes with new digital slimline ballasts. Pick up your high beams while you're there.

Are these actually good quality, and how hard are they to wire?

you can also buy a new ballast. Post in WTB thread and I'm sure people will have one lying around. I bought 2 from here before.

there really is no wiring, just plug and play. I have done some D2R bulbs on my brothers lexus but i have not done D2S bulbs. I imagine that theye would be similar. You can pick up harnesses from autozone to simplify the install. ^^^ and yes they are really good kits, Its been two years since i bought mine and they outlasted my stockers that were only on for 10k im at 60k now and still on the same set.
