Evo foglight request! (besides yellow)

So I'm stuck here debating whether to go with the yellow fog or to go with arctic white. Any evoM member went with this route? If so please post a picture! I can't stand my dingy fogs anymore lol. Also, would 80Watt be ok to run? All I see are 80W for the nokya h11. Thanks.

First off I would like to apologize but I don't have any pics to post yet. However I did go the Nokya h11 route first and they were ok but were best in fog. I don't know about you but I would prefer to get more use out of them and I feel the bright yellow attracts unwanted attention in fair weather. I recently put in a set of 35w 5k HID's in the fog lamp location and I'm really liking them. You can get them for under $50 and they are pretty easy to install. That's what I would do and if you want a yellowish tint then just get some 3-4k bulbs. There are vendors here that carry them. I will try to get a pic up sometime today for you.

I'd be interested to see some pictures comparing aftermarket yellow, white, and blue bulbs.

I was gonna take some nighttime pics last night but forgot. I figured that would be the only way to show what they really look like. I will try again tonight if the doesn't get in the way.

Way over priced. Just did mine with HID's for about $40. With slim ballasts and a lifetime guarantee. You can find vendors on here or DDM Tuning is where I got mine.

I have had the Nokya H11 yellow fogs for over two years now with no complaints thus far. The yellow bulbs might not be as bright as the arctic white however they will perform better in foggy conditions.

Not quite as nice of photography as the others but I can tell you I have used the Nokya H11's and they are really only useful in inclement weather. These HID 4500k really light the road up and I use them daily. The headlights are 55 watt 5k bulbs. Supposedly the higher wattage washes out some of the blue so they are mega bright. I mean mega. If I have them at anything other than 2 on the level selector I get people flashing their high beams at me. Wanted to disclose that so you understand how the fogs compare. Even the didn't stop me tonight. A few kids at the door slowed my progress. Happy Halloween!!

Awesome! Since the weather isn't all that bad in socal. I think I'm going to get the 3k hid fog. Thanks everyone on their input.

BTW, 4xforce, any trouble with the 5-0's?

Nope. I just keep them adjusted down a little while in town. With both the 55w low beams and the fogs you will never be wanting more visibility. I can see the low beams reflect off street signs about a half mile away even when adjusted down a bit. I don't think you will have much to worry about as far as the law goes. Our projector lenses keep the light focused properly. It's those that put the bight blue HID's in standard headlamps that attract the attention.

Are you going for looks or function? Yellow is best for function because it has the shortest wavelength which performs better in poor weather. As far as looks, thats personal preference. I went with PIAA plasma ion which are very yellow for function because I rather not risk my car not being seen or me not being able to see.
