O crap, completely forgot about this thread. Well my unit is done, still make two for my friends but looking for relocation kits. I'll probably use the one out of my car but seeing as I don't have a double din radio at this time it would be pointless for me to swap the stuff over. I'm also picking up some STRI gauges so I can eliminate my current oem gauge setup.

I'll post pictures in like 20 minutes of the finished product, its far from perfect I went a little heavy on the sanding and it didn't come out evenly and the paint is a bit too shiny so I plan on spraying a thing coat of satin black over to blend it a bit better.

FINAL PHOTOS!

Keep in mind this is my first round and the part will be getting a satin finish to blend in better.
Above is the Orbital and Below is my prototype.... Notice the slouch in the orbital kit vs my setup. Also note the hole where the a/c, defrost, etc buttons are, mines are oem and the orbital looks like a 12 yr old went at it with a dremel.

Managed to keep the factory relocation kit dashboard texture for most of the part: (sorry the part is a bit dusty)

Currently looking for relocation kits and HVAC panels, moreso relocation kits!

JDM unit is completely different and electronic, not cable driven like USDM. You need the JDM unit itself then you need the whole blower assembly, complete dash harness from a jdm hvac fitted car, solar sensor, sensor by the key switch, not to mention labor.

HVAC from a Galant would be easier.

I believe you need to resolder some electrical connections to make that unit work since our HVAC isn't plug and play with that unit. Now if you could find out which wires go where I would buy the mating harness and use the pigtails to hardwire something up...
