'sandy' rough feelings on my evo body

Hello all.
I had a dent/scratches on right rear bumper and fixed/repainted the rear bumper(thanks to Josh Bradley at Service Department Huntington Mitsubishi, CA for the great deal).

Well, I just noticed that car doesn't feel very smooth after the paint job on the bumper. Right side of the whole car feels very sandy and can see very tiny particles on the body, right side of whole body.

I waxed every week(yes! every sat morning...part of my excercise and my evo loves it! ) with zymol and now, it doesn't feel as it was used to.

How can I remove tiny paint particles on the body?
Any tips?? zymol couldn't take out the particles.

Thank you all.

might just be some overspray from painting. I would get a clay bar and rub it off. I have used meguirars kit with good results.

thank you for the info.
so clay bar is the answer to the overspray. right?
OK i am newbie at the car detailing. Can I buy clay bar at pepboys or autozone?

How do you use clay bar? i know it's very basic and too vague question but i don't want to mess up.

Should I stop using zymol wax and switch to Meguiar's?

argh....too much information out there and too confused!

pep boys has meguirs clay system about $15. it is very easy to use, just don't drop the clay bar. if you do, throw it away. I use zymol myself it is a good wax for shine and protection.

Clay bar is what you need to use. It was invented by car detailers to remove overspray!

I have the Meguiers system and it works great. It comes in a box that includes a soap bar sized piece of clay and a bottle of detailers spray. All you do to use it is spray a small area with the detailers spray...rub the clay gently across the surface of the paint until you feel the surface grit disappear...wipe with a cotton cloth until detailers spray is evaporated. The detailing spray is just used as a way to lube the surface and allow the clay to slide over the paint easily.

and as stated above....if the bar hits the ground, throw it away! You don't want to add any rocks and stones to the clay or it will scratch the hell out of your paint!

make sure you use lots of water and spray when claying... cause as good as clay works, it can also destroy a paint job...

and you'll need to wx immediately after the clay...
