Yah, I figure my MPH will go up since they are more narrow than the QTP. Thanks for the offer, but I will use them no matter what, so I'll just get mine mounted this weekend.

What are the size differences? When I was using them and switched to a full slick I lost 2 mph but had a quicker et. My M&H were quite tall and it looks like you have a similar size.

According to M&H, this tires is 25.4" tall, but according to the Miata Tire Calculator, a 235/60/15 tire is 26.1" tall.

When I ran a hoosier QTP, I ran a 26 x 9.5 x 15. The width of the M&H is only 7.5", so that 2" must be what helps with MPH, since it's much less rolling resistance.

We will see, I will do a **** load of testing this Summer

Lookin good!

It's 32.5 pounds, compared to 31 pounds even with a Hoosier QTP. So it's a tad bit heavier, but I hope they work decent. We will see!

I had a little set back though, Austin found this before we mounted the 4th tire:

I called up Summit, and I will have a replacement tire on Monday, no charge to me. Now that is customer service

That wheel & tire setup looks awesome! Can't wait to see what this beast weighs this year and what track times it runs!

Lug nuts arrived today. These are the same ones that I ran on the red car, and are VERY light. 25 grams per.

They look really good installed too, because you can see so much of the wheel stud. I really like this setup so far!

Wheel spacers came fed-ex today but I wasn't home to sign for them, so hopefully I get them tomorrow!

My front wheel spacers get here Wednesday of this week, and then I can bring my car down to STM to have an aluminum exhaust made, and then I am done for the season, I think!

I was struggling to find a good place under the dash to mount the battery, so I ended up putting it back in the trunk again. I modified my Buschur Racing small battery tray to fit in the trunk with 2 bolts. It's 2 ga. wire grounding to the chassis 8" from the battery, and then 2 ga. wire running up to the front of the car, where it splits off to the fuse block, alternator and starter. 8" from the battery positive terminal is a 100 amp breaker, so that I can quickly kill all power to the car without any tools.

I have everything mounted and run, I just need to pick up 3, 2 ga. ring terminals on Monday, and then I can finish this small project up. The weather is finally getting nice here too, so I am definitely anxious to put some street miles on this beast this year!

Got my wheel spacers today! 10 extra holes drilled in them to save weight, and they weigh in at 18 oz each:

The next dry day, my car will be at the shop getting a proper exhaust

Car looks good man!! How much weight did you add having to run the battery cable to the rear? Also where are you going to mount a kill switch?

The cable I used, long with the ring terminals were just over 4 pounds, so it wasn't too bad. I will offset it by another pound or 2 by removing the 8 ga. wire that was used for the fuel pump, that is currently run to the front.

I am not going to run a kill switch until I am required too. I have that 100A breaker mounted in the trunk there, so that I can kill power if needed.

I am taking the car on it's maiden voyage tonight to a car meet, so I will hopefully have no problems, and maybe even a story or two to tell

I'd love to make it to the shootout, but it's always so tough for me to get away. I will try my absolute best this year!

haha nice...first event you go to, especially if its a track like Englishtown, will probably make you have a kill switch...Any idea where you are going to mount if when you do install it? Behind where the license plate is?
