the block and head were dropped off at the shop.. so it should be ready in a couple of weeks. in the meantime im going to work on making the engine bay look clean.. thinking of painting it candy purple... any ideas on what would look good with a black car that has purple accents?

 

Gold accents lol or engine bay it would make the purple pop hard lol.

don't forget to replace your oil cooler.

I would also send that red back to FP to be inspected before selling it.

 

i was thinking that but it might be too much lol.. also thinking maybe like a black with purple metallic flakes in it

i was going to just eliminate it and the FP red is sold but had a local turbo shop inspect before the sale to give it the OK

 

Good luck with that spun bearing.. had it happen to me on my 3000GT VR-4 few years back and it was no fun :[

 

Or a black/purple with gold flakes like the blue/black but use purple when the light hits it and have gold to accent it all.

 

damn doesnt sound bad at all.. ima post pics during the process.. prob do it ina week or so if it doesnt snow
