Which Body Kit to go for?????
Alright I need some help deciding which bodykit (front bumper) to go with...... i've narrowed it down to 2 considering the fact dat I don't want a FULL body kit for daily driving..... I wanted something that would look good with stock rear bumper and match with the stock side skirts.... so which would you choose or like better ... the Gialla bumper or the HKS Kansai????
not concerned about price or delivery time...... just want something dat will make me stand out from the rest is all....
they both seem very high quality also....
thanks for the input guys .... keep em coming!

btw..... my car is Black so I need a bumper dat would suit the color..... also wat do u guys think about the kansai carbon fiber hood??? looks kinda bluish.... u think it'll look good on a black car?
The whole purpose of having a carbon fiber part on your car is having people notice it's carbon fiber. Because of it's material, it will stand out. Having carbon fiber external parts on a black car will not really have that much of an impact because the carbon fiber will just blend in with the color. I had a friend that used to have a black Prelude (now a blue STi) with a carbon fiber hood and to be honest, the carbon fiber did not stand out. The black made it look ugly.

I do want to stand out but not much..... i really like the whole carbon fiberness on a black car..... especially a hood.... one of the reasons i bought a black car is to have a stealthy look from a distance but to have a quality look up close...

imagine my surprise, it's just for the "bling factor"...
i would get the c-west it actualy was pruven to take time of lap times! i dont remeber what magazine it was in but some guy at motorx showed me the article .... c west belives a kit should perfom as well as it looks = )
I'm trying be decide myself between the Kansai bumper or the Cwest bumper. Only thing I don't care for on the stock car is the ugly grill triangle with
emblem. One thing to consider about the Cwest bumper is they are coming out with a slick C/F undertray that has built in vent ducting to send air to your front brakes. The 2 small opening in the lower portion of the bumper send the air to the undertray.

well...to give a brief look into "kits"......a body kit is exactly what it says..a body kit...which is made to enhance the look of a car..where as alot of the jdm AERO kits are made to add performance as well as looks. The reason why jdm kits are soo much more expensive is that they go through wind tunnel testing, which tests to see if the design on the aero kits have an aerodynamic benefit. Thats y you see some body kits at around $1000 for the full kit..where as aerokits that are wind tunnel tested are in the $2000 + range. Cwest is very well known for producing aero kits that perform very well and also provide the bling factor.
The thing about carbon fiber/kevlar is that its supposed to reduce weight without sacrificing much in terms of strength and rigidity.
