the wheel/tire combo is

Rota DPT 18x9.5 +22...tires 265/35zr18 hankook ventus rs-2 (and have 7mm spacers going on all 4 corners as soon as i get the extended studs put on)

suspension

JIC-FLTA-2 coilovers, revalved and stiffer springs added.. perrin rear swaybar w/ stout mounts, perrin read adjustable end links

brakes

project mu 2 piece front rotors, hawk hps pads front/rear, russels stainless brake lines, motul dot 4 fluid


those are all the goodies so far.. many more to come..... and ive done ALOT of local smaller time attack track days.. but will be doing more of the big tracks this year (streets of willow, buttonwillow, etc)... just nervous because this is my daily driver.. so if i crash, im screwed! hahaha

Seats and wheels GOTTA go. I got these nice LIMITED EDITION evo 9 seats you can buy.

not to mention she has gone through a few more changes... these are bad pics, ill be taking good ones soon (hopefully while im running the SVTA at buttonwillow next week

So if your car needs to be yanked out of a sand trap, they'll bend your frame? Or how does that work?

Quick question. Why would you want your car towed from there? wouldn't that hurt you cf hood?

 

lol... it is a VERY strong point on the car, so i have NO worries it will bend my frame.. there are plenty of track cars that use that as a tow point.. and it isnt my 1st tow point.. if my car isnt mangled, then it will be towed by the factory tow points.. but if the car is too damaged for that, then it will be towed there


lol... why would it hurt my hood?? if it has to get towed from there, you simply pop your hood, and then tow away.. a tow strap will never be on my hood lol.. and as previously stated, its a smart insurance policy... if you nose dive off the track and damage your front end, odds are, your tow hook out front will be damaged/mangled too... but it would take a catastrophy for that tow hook to be rendered useless..


BUT, in any case, the plan is to never HAVE to use it

hahahahaha... well, lets hope for the babies sake that that doesnt happen !
