I was hoping to have mine done before you. I just have to get it painted now. I went a different route though. I plastic welded mine and it's pretty strong too. I can hold the entire bumper in the center with a finger and it doesn't crack. That's the only support it has.

If i ever get my car back together we'll have to pose them together for pictures.

 

This makes me wish I had an 8. I love the 8 bumper with this mod + the do luck lip. Best looking setup IMO

ended up covering the area with some left over carbon fiber vinyl.. looks pretty good
