hey all,
I have a voltex front bumper and need to think about a way to put front license on the bumper. I bought the oem bracket thinking i would drill some holes and do it, but.. i don't really want to drill a hole in this bumper.
Im curious how others with aftermarket bumpers managed to have their license plate on the bumper. My buddy told me to get a flip up bracket but since the car is sitting low, i don't think its a good idea to put something underneath the bumper even though it will stay up all the time.
Any good ideas? Any help is appreciated! Thanks,

 

Does your state require you to have a front license plate?

 

yea.. i haven't been pulled over yet but i will soon if i don't figure out something.

 

Cali requires you to have a front plate also. I've been driving with out one for almost a year and i haven't been pulled over yet ; ). Knock on WOOD.

 

super strong rare earth magnets. epoxy a few on the back of the bumper, and the plate. PRESTO!

 

haha doing the same thing here.... I just leave it on the dash.. but im finding myself making turns if there is a cop ahead of me.

 

Just take the ticket bro, I wouldn't want to put holes on that bumper..
