Mr Clean Car Wash

has anybody seen the commercial on this? The product's not out yet but you can order then (my dumbass forgot the number) by calling. It's a self drying wash that'll leave the car spottless. Here's some more info on it. It's only $30.

You can get it at Walmart or Sams Club. If you car is black I wouldnt use it though. Mines is, and I did.......there are still some water spots that I didnt notice untill I took a close look.

How does it work? Do those filters need to be changed every wash? We have some really hard water out here in Vegas...

I am actually going to buy this thing soon... but not becuase I'm lazy and don;t want to do real washes; I'm buying it just for the filtered water. It reduces the amount of minerals present which are what really form water spots.

It worked on a white car. Its filtering system does a great job preventing FL's hard water from staining waterspots on the window.

No, it doesn't self dry as advertsied. Also, you have to use its detergent (sp).

As for the black car comment, nothing really washes well on a black car. Just gotta work fast.

I have it and I like it so far. You still have to wash the car with a mit or whatever you use. It isn't like you just stand there and hose the car off. I tested it out on my Mom's car before I used it on my cars so I could see how everything worked. After a good rinse in the filter mode I let my Moms car just Air dry and there were a few spots but it was WAY better than before. It was only $19 at Target and the replacement filter and extra soap are only a little more.

it's worth it, works very well especially for those that have high mineral deposits in their water.

It works. I love it. As for dark colors, they did the SEMA show on a black car and it was spotless. You have to follow the directions to get the best results. My car is spotless, even the glass and CF wing.

It worked really well on the evo, no water marks on the cf spoiler or windows...

I use it personally on my tarmac black. The main problem I find is... you have to wash the car in sections. I usually do the top, then the doors not facing the sun, front, back, and the doors facing the sun.
Problem is, the evo is very boxy and when you finish washing one section, going to another section makes water splash back onto the sections you were working on. IF YOU LEAVE ANY OF THE GOD FORSAKEN SOAP ON YOUR CAR YOU WILL SEE IT HAIEU)A(%*#($*)#JOFDOKJER( sorry just fustrated). Therefore usually it feels like I'm washing the car twice. But if you do it right there will be very minimal spots. They are still there if you look reallly realllly close, or shine a bright light at it, or breathe hot air on it and then have it fog up.( which I like to do just to make myself feel bad).
But point is, it took me ~5-6 tries before I could set a routine to keep most of the car spotless. Beware of water splashing onto a part you have already cleaned. And also the cap for the soap compartment sucks. I go through the soap like nothing since I keep spilling it everywhere. Really have to blast at that soap though, have to get rid of it all! It likes to get stuck between the weather stripping, and it dries into this white substance in between. Otherwise pretty good product

Ehh replacing those filters and detergents get expensive after awhile and not worth the money IMHO.

you have to have decent water and change the filters as recommended and also use their soap. I didn't believe it but it definitely works.
