Lol I remember when I had 2 evos my evo 8 and an evo 5 I only took the block out of the 5 to fix my evo 8 so within a few hours of purchasing the evo5 it was sold Like Joey said that would have just been another money pit that I just did want to deal with.

 

LOL money grave for sure!! Thats crazy man, thats why i didnt buy another one. I was afraid of modding the other crazy and it would be like having 2 9 sec evos haha.

yea man it would be nuts to have 2 Evos. I always said that if i put together a different Evo it would go from stockish to full out build like the Junk Box and have 2 built evos that would be a lot to handle 1 Evo is good enough haha

Who put the motor together for you? any more details about it? That FF manifold is bad ***! I would love one on my car but i Daily it to much to have one :-/

Yea.. Were moving at a snails pace. Engines on the stand... This is my first 4g63... So im taking my time learning more than anything! Red ftw!

Good luck with that 8sec slip Joey! I am gonna pick up a dw300 and some fic1450s and take a trip back up to boosting for some more power. I think the car needs a little more work in the regular tune as well. I have the notorious partial throttle hesitation between 2000-2600 Roma, plus a pesky idle surge every once in awhile lol.

I hope to make another pass in my car before it gets too cold lol.

Dyno did not go really well at all. But the improvements i made were worth it and had nothing to do with the issue i had. Car will be getting back together and will be at it this weekend on Saturday at the track
