"JUNK BOX" Complete!! 8s???
UPDATE!
Hey Everyone. Sorry it took a little bit to update you on how the dyno went. On the dyno it didnt go very well. One of my injectors was clogged causing some problems in cylinder 3 and ruining 4 valves. Also we pulled the plugs and the electrode for the spark plug was completly missing on number 3 which is obviously not good at all. I cant believe i have had this much bad luck. My injector going bad and then the spark plug completly broke. Car maden 772 on the Mustang dyno on 42 pounds. Had some more time to go in the tune but thats where we ran into some problems. Also it seems like were just running out of Turbo around 42. Time to go to the 6766!
We were all in shock when we pulled that plug. I couldnt believe it. But it didnt stop me from putting the car away for the season. I have 4 spare Weisco HD 10:5:1 pistons that are in great shape. Put the new piston in, rings, bearings and re-hone the bottom end. Devin @ Boostin did that all day yesterday for me. Now the head is going to the machine shop Monday and ill have it back Tuesday. Car will be running again mid next week. I am not going to the Dyno this time. I am going to the track and going to make adjustments there.
I am not giving up. I want to go 8s before the end of the season and i feel with these new changes and the car running right it has a very good chance. I am a dedicated Racer Evo enthusiast haha
When I want to meet a goal i will try my hardest until there is snow on the ground lol. There has been a decent amount of bumps in the road this year. But were fighting through it and ill be back next Saturday!
Stay tuned for this week and weekend! Me and Devin are planning on getting to the track thursday night and also on the weekend. Weather looks very good so its time to get out there. I took a quick snap on Friday before i loaded her up in the trailer.
