UPDATE!!
Car is coming together nicely. Head is on the car, intake mani, injectors etc. Front mount still needs to be mounted up and thats about hit. Devin will have the car fired up tonight and run the car through a few heat cycles tonight and tomorrow, then re-torque the head. Were waiting to hear back from the dyno to see if we can get an appointment. I hope we can cuz im anxious as hell to get the Junk Box back out there!
I took a quick snap of the engine bay. Nothing special. The valve cover came out awesome. The HKS cam gears look sweet in the engine bay as well. The color in the picture doesnt do justice of the valve cover. Its basically identical to the plate on my spark tech and the wastegate and BOV. It came out awesome! Pic below. Will have pics up tomorrow of it completly finished!
Also here is the video of 1 pass from this years DSM Shootout. The car had issues on every pass. In the video, you can hear a break up once i hit 4th gear and had little hiccups on top end. Thats why my trap speed was down. I only trapped 147
Now everything is fixed and cant wait to get back out there. At the shootout i managed to go 9.6@153 best pass. Car broke up in that pass too but managed to stay in it. I thought i would post it up to share. I dont have the 9.6 pass on video unless someone else does that i dont know. Stay tuned for tomorrow and ill get everyone updated on tomorrow night if i can make it to the dyno!

All I have is the 1/8 mile close to me. Im hoping to make another pass there before it gets too cold. Im hoping the new tune and 17's will help me get a low 7 in the 1/8. haha That should come to around a mid to low 11 in the 1/4 im hoping. Prolly wont run in the 1/4 till next year.

Whats the closest 1/4 mile track to you? The 2 tracks i go to around 1 hour and 30 mintes away. Its still a pretty big hike lol New pic guys!!
Im going to get rid of the Red Regulator and get a clear cam cover over the next week or to. I just havent had time to deal with those parts yet cuz id rather get the car on the dyno and to the track!

Engine bay looks good man...Now get that beast tuned!! You should delete that hard power steering line on the left & just run a 3/8" fuel line from the bottom of the P/S reservoir down to the rack.
Yea thats a good idea. It was brought up to me awhile ago but i totally forgot about it haha. A few little changes still left to do and should be golden. Waiting to hear back from the Dyno. Hopefully can get the JUNK BOX tuned this weekend. Stay tuned!Thanks Man! Very soon!

I couldnt make it on the dyno tonight guys. There was no appointment available at the last second. We didnt know the car would be 100 percent ready but it all worked out. We still need to do a few minor things to the car like oil change etc.
The car sounds 5 times better then before. With the new head and cams car sounds louder, more agressive and more response My buddy took a small iphone video clip real quick that i can try to upload. It isnt the best quality but it something. Cant wait to get this thing on the dyno next week. We have set the appointment for Thursday but as a back up just in case we have a Friday one also. Track next weekend for sure! Stay tuned for numbers and hopefully that 8 sec pass
