Some of this stuff is just sacrilegious. Why buy a Lancer Evolution if you are just going to F it up? I thought stance was how a car sits with proper suspension and wheel/tire combo. More specifically, sits lower in the front than rear, wide rims, and MATCHING tire size.

1. If you cant turn because you car is too low...not stance.
2. If you have 10" wide rims with 225/40/18's...not stance.
3. If you rims stick out beyond your fender like a gangsta spec 64 Impala...not stance.

Some of these cars/fads are just as stupid as when those young cats get Buick Grand National's and put 24's on them.

why does it matter to u? its a "stanced" thread. now you know what the word "stanced" really means and its containing contents.
so now you decide what is and what isnt stance?

theres still grand nationals and other similar cars on 24's rolling around as well as 12" wheels and hydraulics, its what they like. just sit back and look thru the pics, thats what i do.

I love people who are butt hurt about stance...My car makes 550+whp and currently runs 18x9.5 +15 as picture in the second post. I just ordered a set of 18x10 +28 wheels. I prefer to stance my car. But guess what, it only takes a little time to take some camber out and lift the car to throw my track wheels/tires on it to get an alignment for track days, lol...Relax people.

If you dont like stance, you 100% are in the wrong thread, lmao

Herein lies the rub that hovers over this discussion. It's a showcar metric that is somehow meant to legitimize a practice that eschews every automotive standard on record for the sake of appearance. What does 550hp have to do with turning the car? Nothing. How does the idea of spending several hours and at least $100 on an alignment just to make the thing drivable relevant to its ability to negotiate the barriers posed by life as well as the car it started out as? It doesn't. Why would someone who values the driving experience buy a driver's car only to turn it into the opposite of itself? Well, he wouldn't. So we're back full circle.

Or, if you like stance, you're 100% on the wrong forum. You have to take the good with the bad.

And why should you be involved in what others do to their cars?
