Need help choosing speakers......

I would like to upgrade the stereo in my EVO. After some reading of other threads it seems that I have narrowed my speaker choices down to the following:
Diamond Audio
S600s $329

Oz Audio
Oz Matrix CS-180 $319

The sound I am looking for is smooth and warm, a full sound. Not harsh or bright. I have Infinity Kappa's in my Saleen and they are clear and loud but a bit too bright for my taste. Both of these speakers have non-metalic tweets so hopefully they won't be bright. Am I correct on this assumption?

Will these speakers fit in the stock locations with out any problems? The mounting depth for the Diamonds is listed as
2 1/8", will these work for my fronts? What about the tweeters? Also, what size speaker does the rear require? Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.
John

Yeah. And if you're DIY inclined check out the super prices being offered on some 6 1/2" two-way Focal components by the distributor. http://www.zalytron.com/autosale.htm

Yes nice speakers but the TN45 arent the sams character as the 46s you got. BTW Austin both those choices are awesome With the extra warmth going to the OZs I slightly prefer the hex though. Check out www.morelusa.com for my cavorites might not be what your looking to spend but Ive used them exclusively for the past 4 years

BTW Evomaster MBQs have been surpassed some time ago and need serious EQ to perform as well as some of the newcomers

Actually, I got the same package with the TN46 tweeters. He ran out and is now selling the kit with the 45's. Still a grteat deal IMO. My measurements of the Focal 6 1/2" 2-ways.

Thanks everyone for your replies so far but I still have unanswered questions.

1) Will these speakers fit in the stock locations with little to no mods?(I am really curious about mounting depth, the Diamonds need 2 1/8" but I don't have the depth for the OZ speaks)

2) Will I have any problems mounting the tweets in the stock location?

3) Does anyone know what size the rear speaks are? I think they are also 6.5" but not sure.

Thanks for all help!

MP5,
Have you already changed out your stereo? If so if we get a chance this weekend would love to check it out. Talk to ya soon.

If you're referring to the Focal's... yes; no; 6.75".

1) Yes the diamonds will for sure fit.
2)Tweets will fit without much prob
3) the rears are an oversized 6.5 really a 6 3/4. But just get whatever its easy to mount I cut the stockers basket off with a dremel and mounted standard 6.5s(ID chameleons)

Well its a work in progress The amp is mounted and power wired but not signal (Going to mod my Nakamichi 1 din cd player to control the 6 disc player so that will take some time) Right now the front morel 6.5s and the reare deck speakers are in and playing (wayyy underpowered) on the stock HU. I will have to custom the a pillars like a member did here (anyone know his handle? the guy with the diamond 4") to fit the 3"domed midrange. slow but steady and hopefully under 30#s
