I liked how well the video was put together but I really didn't like the cars at all

 

^^ just curious, what about them did you not like? obviously everyone has their own tastes and preferences, but these 2 cars are basically product catalogs on wheels. nothing but the best of parts... would you prefer to see some rotas? maybe some knockoff seats? stock faded brembo calipers?

im sure your evo looks 1000000x's better than everyone elses!!!!

 

Very nicely shot and edited. It would have been nice if it featured less riced Evolutions.

i have been on these forums for quite some time, just never bothered to post. great site though, lots of useful information. both of the cars in this video belong to my friends. i have been in the import scene for over 20 years and for someone to call these cars rice, well, it just seems like you don't know the definition of rice. you sound like a domestic owner!

There are two kind of folks here: those who drive and those who park. The people you're trying to engage represent the former. IOW, they're not fresh.

Obviously this isn't your first day on a car forum and the, "Who, me?" shtick won't fly. Maybe of of the two Evo owners in your acquaintance could help you find a pair. At least they know what one looks like.

Both cars look nice to me. I never thought I'd see the day when Volks and Brides make a car "riced out". Its not about the dollars that these owners have put into their cars but you have to give someone credit when they take the time out and replace/upgrade parts with high quality ones. Lastly, neither one of these cars are slow either.

Everyone has an opinion so I will leave it at that. However Id much rather see thiese cars then all of these evos at stock height with glow in the day spray painted oem wheels on here. I especially dont care for all off this hella-whatever stuff people are doing to their evos. To me thats not rice...its just lame.

Every single thing except for the motor and turbo. Simple enough, I do agree with you on saying mine looks 1000000x's better because I don't "trick it out" like all you "stance/ricer" people. I have yet to see another Evo that is as clean as I try and keep mine.

What don't I like? Well that is a very big list of things. If you want I can list everything I can spot...Lets see here is a list. All the stickers, the wheels, the side spats, the ARC intake box, the red seats, the gauges, the carbon fiber hoods, the carbon fiber parts on the bumper, the ridiculous time attack wings, the blue roll cage on a white car with red seats, the Trust gauge cluster overlay, the gauge pod on top of the dash. I am sure I missed some things but there you go. I could not give a rats behind if it has "fake" seats or Rotas, it still looks bad in my eyes. I don't have faded calipers so not all Evo's have faded ones.

I don't know that I would say the best parts are on those cars, I don't see anything special from the video that makes these cars so special to you that you get all butt hurt from me saying I didn't like it. But since you had to go off and cry about it I'll be critical which I didn't plan on doing in my first post because the video was very well made. I just absolutely hate to look at those two cars.
