some people have done it themselves, if you can paint then go for it. I had the shop do it while he painted the car.

the car looks amazing! thats nice turnaround from when you bought it!

FYI though for anyone else that doesn't have money to repaint a RED evo, the paint is SINGLE STAGE, i've heard it saved 15lbs over paint and clear, so you can bring it back from life support literally. check out this link

i was thinking about taking my lights to a body shop and having them recleared after polishing them also. what does the interior look like?

from this to this with a wash and good detail

AND ANOTHER RED DETAILED

the interior is pretty clean, id give it an 8/10. its missing the passenger floor mat, and the driver seat has a slight tear but besides that its pretty damn clean. I havent got any mods since the FMIC and test pipe.

Now im debating doing cams with the 60k service since itll save me some money. hks 272? im planning to go fp red or green later on.

HKS's are overrated, id go with gsc, cosworth, kelfords, and theres a few other good companies.

mine was also an RR before i painted it, RR's stock paint is so crappy because its single stage D: so every time i buffed it i took of paint along with it.

i noticed the hks have a mild lift as compared to the kelfords. this means ill need to get new springs and retainers with them right? 11mm lift on the kelfords .

u'd want springs and retainers for stage 2 cams to be on the safe side. 272's i'd get them.
