Carbon kevlar fiber
ill try to take more as i go kinda hrd to do play by play the stuff dries quick and is also really messy.... i ordered more of the same stuff and also some reglar carbon fiber to do the trim... the driver miror took two trys and has a minor blemish pasenger side is flawless though
looks like you may want to make sure no wrinkles and that the weave is near perfect and use more resin and clear coat. then wet sand and buff to get a nice glossy and smooth finish. props for attempting something like this. maybe take pics with a better camera too.
yeah i cant find a cord for my camera and have to find an extra scandisk to transfer them to my computer... these are from my black berry...i plan on redoing it all i just wanted to see what they look like...have a few blemshes... the driver mirror has a pattern f up from wrapping around a corner....the gas door is good just needs a good buff when it cures going to wait a couple more days to be sure... ill re do the wing had a fold at one of the corners and there was a gap in the pattern all in all it was a good learning expierence for a couple days work.... but work the next two days and hopefully more fabric comes that was shipped so i can do something bigger like a bumper trunk or fender...
I'm confused by what you did to the wing ends? I'm pretty sure that if you have an evo viii wing it's already fully carbon fiber.
Besides that this looks like an awesome project bro keep it up

sorry been busy with work...yeah right now i just wrapped them to see what they look like...i covered the original parts with a molding wax so i can take them off... the gas door is a piece by itself i just have to make a fiberglass mould of the mounting bracket...this is deff going to take alot longer than i intended but thats ok with me... the project is going to be put on hold for about 6 months in november... i will be being deployed... but i have ll intentions of picking back up when i get back... i also wont get a chance to work on this for about another week
but when i get the chance i will be re doing the wing and mirrors by since they are just covered and arnt perfect going to make a mould and do prob 3 or 4 layers for those.... also going to finish my rear diffuser by fiberglassing a mould than laying a layer of ckf for a finish... and if i have time left over going to do the all the black trim in regular carbon fiber since i ordered some of that and will be in by the time i have time to work on it... since everything else i want to do is going to take alot of time of trial and error of making moulds and what not for getting good alignment and good shape...figured id nock all the easy stuff out first... than work on big projects one at a time...

+1 on wraping the roof... shouldn't be thattttt hard concidering its a nice flat surface with NO edges to try keep pattern. May just need a bunch of that material which may get $$$.
