well i bough all the products i need to start skinning and making my own parts and molding material happy birthday to me... but going to try to turn my evo into a complete carbon kevlar shell.....will make a thread as i go if any one else is interested in it

 

if you've never worked with it before, you might wanna practice with something easy, like a spark plug cover.

A few locals all failed in their CF attempts

 

why? they already make: doors, hood, fenders, roof, trunk, spoiler, generator, front bumper, lips, side skirts all in carbon. itd be much easier to just buy it all then get a reputable company to make anything thats not carbon in carbon and be done with it

 

He's trying to make carbon kevlar, not regular carbon fiber.

New trend I guess, carbon fiber is so yesterday

Carbon Kevlar isn't anything new, you can get many panels both interior and exterior. Most of the companies that stock them are in Europe mainly for rally cars. They also have carbon kevlar panels that cover the entire underside as well as wheel wells.
