Widebody Resurrection
First off I'm not a body man but have a pretty good idea of what i'm doing. I'm a Master Tech and I work for a Subaru dealer. I do however have a very good body man that I'm good friends with to lead me in the right direction when i'm unsure.
some more pics for ya guys... got the rear bumper on and glassed it in so gaps are gonna be perfect!

these are pictures of everything preped for glass I layed some fiberglass on it tonight and am going to finish sanding it and the door tomorrow then lay some fibertech over it to smooth it out then going to cut bumper out fill holes on sides and finish up a few lil details on it.

At first I was dead set aginst molding the rear bumper in but after seeing how it looks now I kinda like it... Lmk what you guys are thinking guys, and keep in mind I still have some work left so it will be looking alot smother yet. Thanks

i say DONT LEAVE IT... i would cut it apart and make the bumper and quarter panel seperate but have perfect body gaps. I used to be a master collision repair tech and i would almost bet money even if its done perfect within 6 mo of dd esp in (north dakota ive worked there) it will crack from extreme weather conditions, and how the body "shifts" and the bumper will not as much and you will have to fix again... but thats just my .02 cents

Ok If you say it's gonna crack i'm gonna cut it out for sure. The car is never gonna be driving in the winter though and it's gonna be in a heated garage all the time... so hopefully there is less chance for cracking
