I have had multiple cars with molded in rear and one front molded bumper. Front I would never do again, but my rear never cracked as it was done properly. Just remember though after you paint its a pain to separate the rear bumper from the rear quarters.

I have absolutely no experience with any molding, so i have no insight of if it will crack or not. However, i think it would look absolutely great molded like you have it! i don't know about others in this thread, but ill be keeping close tabs on this one!

Impressive project. I'd leave the rear bumper separate unless its a 100% show car (even then it's questionable), which I hope isn't the case. No matter how clean and cool, it simply isn't practical at all and in the somewhat likely chance of needing to remove the bumper, you're looking at major bodywork and repaint vs a few bolts and a few cleanly gapped lines.

Yep I have decided to cut it out for sure... It got to late last night but I made some mroe progress. I have the spot for the door handle trimmed out and i sanded down the qtr to bumper spot again after applying fibertech and it looks way better now. I'll post some pics tonight of progress and hopefully some pics of bumper cut out

Some more progress pics for ya guys... Pretty much just need to do a glaze coat on the rear half and finish up all the little fitment / finish details. Last night I fixed all major high/low spots and i cut out the door handles.

I know it doesn't look very smooth in the pics but its coming together and feels nice.

LMFAO, +1000^^^ Maybe it was planned cause he's going with a fuel cell?! That would suck if it was by accident tho.

LOL the tank was 3/4 full so I figured that was good enough...... but seriously I'm gonna mount the stock filler in the trunk by the pass inner fender. The only way I was gonna do this kit was if I could make the pass side look like the driver side. meaning get rid of the hideous gap where the fuel door had to open. So I went for it

update... I have been a little busy lately and haven't had to much time for the evo, but as of right now I am very close to finished with the rear of the vehicle. only have prolly 3 more hard nights and i will be rdy for primer...

I got the door gaps on the kit nicer and a little tighter then factory gaps. It looks super clean, and I imagine it will look almost stock when it's done
