Does any1 make CF body parts for the EVO? Other than the usual hood, trunk lid and factory spolier that is. Like fenders, complete body kits, or even door panels? I was thinking of C-West since they make CF door panels and other CF body parts for the S2000, but I dont see them making such parts for the EVO . I wanna make the EVO as light as possible without losing too much creature comfort(AC,back seats,etc.). And what about the heavy glass? Does any company make custom fit Lexan windows for the EVO? Im thinking this because Flex-a-Lite made custom fit Lexan rear windows for the Civics and Integras.

Also, is it dangerous to have CF door panels instead of the normal "insert material of whatever the EVO doors are made of here" doors? Even if u have a roll cage? and are they street legal?

 

Haven't seen many C/F body panels however there are FRP rear doors.

 

I've seen some interior pieces and engine part covers, but that's it.

 

The glass in the evo is thinner then the glass in a reg lancer.
I got a rock chip than it cracked big time the next day. Anyway I told the glass company I had an evo they brought out a windshield for an lancer and it would not fit. They brought out anouther windsheild same problem. They ended up having to call Mark mitsu. and order a windsheild for the evo. Thats when they told them it was thinner glass.

 

I want some carbon fiber fenders. Before I get flames, yes i do want carbon fiber fendors.

Mike - Whats up with a Kansai VIII CF hood? To me, it appears to be an EXACT OEM look. Even has molded trim around the vent!

there was a post awile ago someone was selling CF timing belt cover.who was that person?or where is that post

 

it was bulletproof.com in the classifieds. the cover comes in a kit for about $500.
