Alright, So I have an 05 EVO VIII, in AS.

What I am considering doing is:

trading the front bumper, rear bumper, and side skirts for a set of black ones.
powder coating my enkeis black, or trading them for black wheels

Then a nose chop on the front bumper
and lowering the car.

With a dark dark tint.

a Poly front lip, and 2 side skirt poly lips...and either eventually getting a JDM rear, or getting a diffuser for the USDM bumper.

What are you're thoughts?

Kinda like 2 tone? I don't like the sound of it. Doing the bumpers would look like it's been in an accident.

Maybe if you did like a black skirt around the bottom (sideskirts, front lip, not sure if you have skirts on USDM rear but that one too if it does). My brother did his 95 white WRX like that and it looked pretty good, except at night it just looked like it had no skirts.

yeah it was kinda like a 2 tone idea i'm throwing around in my head. I dont have anything officially decided, i'm just getting suggestions ya know?

Stock the USDM bumpers don't have lips. and are suggesting replacing the stock side skirts with black ones? Or just getting the poly or CF lips for the bumpers all the way around?

 

It's really hard to get that 2 tone look on our cars.
There isn't a straight body line that flows along the side.

 

Black/carbon front lip, black sideskirts and black/carbon rear lip/skirt or caps.

So just like a black lip round the bottom of the whole car. It's different to OEM but not OTT.

Not bad looking good so far blackout the mesh on the hood, thats just my 2cents. but as far as the black bumpers and side skirts, to each his own. if you like it then thats just your choice personally that is not something that I would do but it is your car.
