A pillar pod frustrationnn (help!)
A pillar pod frustrationnn (help!)
I can't get the aftermarket Glowshift A Pillar pod I bought to sit flush with the car... I mounted it onto the stock A pillar and even cut off a little bit of the bottom of the stock A pillar (check pics)
I've read in some threads that you need to cut off the "top and bottom" of the stock A pillar... but can someone explain what the top and bottom are? As in how much of the top, and which corners, etc
Also... can't get the speaker cutout to stick to the outside of the new A pillar... I've tried everything short of hardcore epoxy (super ultra mega glue, etc)
just so frustrated with this stupid thing...

I doubt you searched, im confident to say you don't even know what the search button is. No reason to search your profile other than to back up my statement more. You have some new ****ing stupid, common sense thread up every few days wiz...
Continue trimming little by little around the outside of the stock A-pillar. It takes some time, but as long as you are careful you can get it to fit like oem. Its trial and error, trim, test fit, if its not flush with the new A-pillar on top, continue trimming. Just take your time with it and remove the metal clips on the back of the stock A-pillar so you don't wear them out constantly installing and removing the A- Pillar assembly. You need to find whats hitting in the back that keeps it from seating correctly.
