How in the hell am I in here for the first time on Page 4! You gotta give a brother a heads-up on these posts so I can get in early! haha

I hope I don't clutter your post with a bunch of random stuff but.........here I go!

First, the Ricer is a true EVO industry icon. Emery and Shawna, you two are some of my favorite people I've ever been associated with and class acts. I LOVED seeing you rip off those 8 second times run after run in the Ricer. I think you made more 8 second runs consistently than anyone else has.

As I sat back and watched it I was cheering for you to keep going faster. I also have to admit, that I'm not that sad to see it end. It such a crazy amount of work and money to run at that level, for us it was frustrating as hell too as trying to run the same insane speeds over and over was just impossible between trying to get the car to hook up and shift etc.

I'm really excited to see this new project! I'm on board for whatever you want to do and in anyway I can help.

I have to throw this out there though............Emery, I expect to see you dodging some cones again at the 20th Annual with this project! A true street EVO has to turn AND go in a straight line!! It's going to be a battle!!

Good luck!

Lol, Dave will do anything to feed his cone addiction. I agree though, a true street car has to be a well balanced machine. I'm sure Emery is thinking "Oh sure Dave, make me spend MORE money!" lol.

Awesome.

I love to see more street builds. I'm doing an 'ultimate street car' build as well so I hope to throw down with you guys at shootout 2012! Although I won't be targeting 9.50's.

The TC105N can be picked up used for 1000-1300 in 17x9+25. They look sick in that size/offset, I owned a pair last year before I started a waterfall of wheel whoring.

You guys doing this as a just drag, or a max effort car?

As far as the turbo goes, I really do not know yet. I have a few calls to make on Monday and will know more by then. Maybe we will have something new to test. Who knows?

See thats why I told you lets keep my 2.3 in and try it out and if we find out its not worth is I will go back to the 2.0.

Thanks for all the positive feedback and encouragement! I know emery has been thinking of different platforms but I am really happy to stick with this car for a little while longer!

David... You and your damn orange cones!! I'm gonna wrap that whole car in painters tape! I miss you too. I'm sure this winter is going to fly by!

Thomas I saw her black evo at dinner and I'm a little jealous! Still have a soft spot for the black ones. 450-500 is definitely the sweet spot.

4 pages already... We need more pics!
