Pictures from Buttonwillow Raceway with some epic carnage

I just had the car re-painted less than a week ago and I took it to the track four days after I got it back from the body shop Also some funny/epic pictures

Drifting civic anyone?

This guy just so happened to lose his oil filter in the braking zone of course where faster cars are going from 120-130mph to 60-70mph.

Which resulted in this:

And here's the driver of the civic booking it after he realized how close the M3 got to him:

I think that's the honda driver. And with cars losing it that close to my car, I think i'd make a run for it before one plowed into me!

Awesome pics! I wouldn't be pleased if I was driving behind the Honduh.. but bad things are to be expected at a track.

Looks like a dangerous spot to be stranded, more dangerous for him to get out of the car and run for it. Lucky no one else came sliding in towards him when he got out.

On another note, M3 and FD look amazing! (So does your Evo )

Looks like an awesome time was had! Looks like some cleaning will need to be done to some of the cars! Hopefully no major damage and nobody was hurt. I have always been taught to stay in the car when an event like that happens. I guess I don't fault the driver for making a run for it, but I don't think I would have left my car until the safety guys came around.

Your car looks minty clean! Can I ask what your setup is? The stance looks great. Looks like you are running 17x9 ce28s? What offset?

That is a pretty ignorant thing to say.

Your car doesn't have an oil filter? Things happen on track days. Motors let got, fluids leak, and people go home having a bad day sometimes. I'm sure he did not intend to have his oil filter come off.

I say good job to him for tracking his car! Something A LOT of other people cannot say they do or have the ***** to do. They would just rather hard park and slam their car.
