INTRODUCTION
Last year I bought a 2005 evo and did a 2.4L 6265 build on the car. After it was completed and dealing with so many issues I sold the car due to being so aggravated with it. I realized that was a big mistake and decided to buy another evo.
Over this weekend I picked up a 2003 Evo 8 shell from colorado for my next project. The car has 50,000 original miles and has been in colorado pretty much its whole life except for a few months when it was over in california.
From chicago it was a 2,000 mile round trip. We left friday afternoon right around 3pm and got back saturday night with the car at 2am. It was probably one of the most boring road trips we have ever been on but after getting the car home giving it a good wash and take a good look at the car, the trip was definitely justified.

-- AND FINALLY THE NEW SET OF SEATS FOR THE CAR --

wow this is going to be a fun project! what are the plans for it?
funny off topic... a lot of chicago people have been picking up cars from colorado. i have 2 people from chicago wanting to pick up my prepped kswap integra.

Plans for the car are still undetermined gonna kinda figure it out as we progress with the car. The colorado thing yeah I'm not really sure man maybe just coincidence?

Thanks for all the comments guys. Im gonna be building the car from the ground up and its going to be a purpose built track car that I can still take out on the street and enjoy from time to time.
Little update on the car, today I got everything out of the engine bay and got it all cleaned up. ABS delete to come soon

Little update nothing major.. worked on the car for a few hours tonight and started cleaning up all the left over reside from the sound deadening in the car.. However I did get the new trunk for the car today!
