bby paint

i went to the dealer today lookin for a bby evo..unfortunately they sold the last one on the lot 2 days ago. i was talkin to the sales rep, supposedly this guy has sold about 30 evos or somethin anyways i asked him if he could order a bby evo and he said it would take about an hour so we just started talkin about the evo..one thing that he said was that the bby paint is somewhat "softer" than the other colors. he was sayin how a small blemish in the paint would show up if you just rested on it or pressed your finger on the paint. not sure if this is true or not but if you guys with bby paintjobs could let me know how the paint is holdin up thatd be cool..i started to consider the silver and black color but i would still prefer the blue over all of em. just want to know your guys' input

I think that steve0677 said is true... He just want's you to take what's avilable. Look around for a better deal, and your color of choice.

i absolutely love the color...but the paint is crap....nothing will happen if you press hard, but the paint swirls like nothing! Be careful washing it.

i agree with the other poeple, i bet he just told u that because he wanted to get a sale the same day.

From what i've actually read on these forums, all mitsu paint chips and cracks easily, so... no matter what color u get you may have some problems.

but good luck with your evo and the BBY! excellent color choice

The blue and black just show paint damage/blemishes/orange peel easier. The silver is the easiest of the three to keep looking nice. Get the color you like. BBY is a nice color
