In process of choosing new rims for my black evo 5. I have in mind either rota gtr-d's 18x9.5 bronze or black OR xxr 521's 18x10 in possibly bronze. What are your thoughts?

the rota's or the xxr's. Haven't seen any evo's on rota gtr-ds. Unsure if the xxr's will look as good on mine as they do on the evo 8's

you will struggle to fit 10's mate

ive got 17x9.75 +25's on mine and it involved a lot of hacking of the plastic

hats off if you can do it though!

PS that thing looks amazing in black...very jealous!

Didn't end up getting either if those rims went with the rota mxr's 17x9.5 not quite the same as the xxr's but similar. will upload some pics soon.

Now just got to get them fitted up!

the white evo is well put. those are 521 not rotas i believe. pretty cheap and better design than what they have had in past

 

I was originally looking at xxr 521's or rota gtr-d's but ended up going with the rota mxr's.

They are 18x9.5 sorry MR1JZ i made a typo.

Hahaha te37s are very nice but wanted something different and some dish!

Will upload pics of rims with nitto nto5's in next couple of days. Not fitted yet as going to go widebody.
