Hey guys,

Just wanted to get a quick poll on what color alcantara suede headliner would look best....
1) black
2) grey (charcoal)
3) fatory light grey
4) cf material wrap (not suede)

Below is an example of the cf material


Any and all opinions welcome

 

Alvin hyun (sp?) Was one of the first ive seen to do suede. Looked amazing. The only thing that i havent seen anyone solve for is the grey plastic pieces such as visor clips. You can paint them but it will eventually peel.

Ive considered using black alacantra the buy evo x visors because i 'think' they are black plastic. Not sure if they r compatible.

Charcoal or Black for sure.

 

I voted for the factory light grey. Never understood why folks wanted to make the cabin feel more closed in and claustrophobic by using darker shades.

 

These are definently fun projects! I agree that suede just looks flawless as a headliner/panels, adds so much class to the interior. The grey clips are not a problem, I have painted mine with a plastic paint and it wont rub off at all. Was done last July. Ill post pics of my interior...whats remaining in the interior, dash is gutted at the moment. Never thought of the evo x visor clips. Next evo meet ill take a look forsure! Thanks for the input

I thought alot of people would feel the same.
For my personal car i have a cf headliner which is darker... well its dark. But i added LED interior lights that definently lighten up the interior. It doesnt seem to bother me that much, granted I dont have tints either.

The cf headliner/pillars is alot to take in... Its definently not for everyone but its definently different. I like it alot. Its a matte black cf. Have to get the right light to really notice the cf weave. To add to it, the red is very over the top, but im a fan of different and love it too! I bet im the only evo with an interior like this, some will say their is a reason for it but thats the joy of individuality more poll results please, need those opinions
