I did something similar with placement of the gauge pods. Since this is my daily driver I learned that the driver side vent is preferred to keep the hands warm in winter, so I kept that in place. Passengers dont have a steering wheel to hold on to, so the far right vent is enough to keep them warm in the winter and cool in summer.

Very nice indeed!!! I like how you kept that driver vent, VERY smart idea
It was definently a LOT of work and took a LONG time to finish...
No talent needed just, patience, time and some luck that you dont screw up too badly lol (thats why I bought a used dash panel)
With the 2-din navi it was this or the ATI dash pod... The a-pillar pod was just not a option
Pretty happy with it but will definently give it another shot in 2013
