Props on originality, but ac isn't an option for me lol. It's a requirement here in the south lol. Killer work though!

I did something similar with placement of the gauge pods. Since this is my daily driver I learned that the driver side vent is preferred to keep the hands warm in winter, so I kept that in place. Passengers dont have a steering wheel to hold on to, so the far right vent is enough to keep them warm in the winter and cool in summer.

Here is what I did:

Very nice indeed!!! I like how you kept that driver vent, VERY smart idea Such a clean spot for gauges to go, especially when you have a 2-din unit. Plus im not a fan of the a-pillar pods. Heavy thumbs up, yours is super clean

Is it hard to take out the heater vents? And how do u take them out. I wanted to take out the driver side vent and put a GPS unit there.

The vents are connected to the front dash panel. Remove that and its smooth sailings. Just a few screws hold the vent to the centre dash panel. Really easy stuff. Radio panel blocks 2 screws for dash trim panel and also the cluster trim.

It was definently a LOT of work and took a LONG time to finish...
No talent needed just, patience, time and some luck that you dont screw up too badly lol (thats why I bought a used dash panel)

With the 2-din navi it was this or the ATI dash pod... The a-pillar pod was just not a option Pretty happy with it but will definently give it another shot in 2013
