Leather in a Evo.... that is like having a 6 point roll cage and racing harness in a Escalade..... :/

 

I was under the impression it was the same seat, but leather instead of cloth.

Leather sucks for a sports car, anyway. Sliding = bad.

Prolly looks like the color matched leather thats available in the FQ300 Euro. models now. Pretty much the same seat with leather hides. Theres pics. somewhere in show n' shine.

 

Check out the SCC or EVO magazine. It doesn't have pics but says that the leather and 315W Infiniti sound system adds about 33lbs to the car. It comes down to preference but i'd rather not add that extra weight. . Besides if u're planning on tracking ur car, the cloth seats should hold u in better than the leather and besides that leather is a P.I.A to take care off too.

 

Leather sucks!!! But I wouldn't mind the system...

Isnt the recaro seats for the evo VIII in the UK partially leather?

 

I think its optional on the FQ models. Not exactly sure of the layout, but I think it has suade inserts in the center section and everything else is body color matched leather.

There used to be some pics around here, but I cant find them.
