MiRage AgaiNst This MacHiNE ...
I never posted about my project car since I became a member of this forum around 2004. Early years Evo 8 was new to the state, I'm in love with Rally cars and Evo 4,5,6. Mirage to Evo was very expensive affair to me, the technical know how and the time for me to finish it because of my tour on OEF and OIF causes alot of delay.
My First Inspiration is the NCHANT's Mirage Cyborg 4G63T (Mirage forum) from Australia, it was a FWD. however, I don't know what happen to his Cyborg project but presently he got a new TME VI. Around 2005, I bought a cheap 4g63/tranny and Transfer-case from directly Japan, back then it was very cheap. Then the FF movies that causes all the part price to skyrocketed. During that year, First Mirage-to-Evo conversion race began that year with people I know from the Mirage Forum like Remrock (quit), AdamJ39 (Mirage Coupe) and me. Okay, I'll quit the history lesson and here's the pictures.
From Early Days of 2004.

I finished the project in Loiusiana after I'm done with my enlistment. Now I'm currently in NYC in my final days in college.

Because of information lack of where and how to connect to know-how, I have to concentrate on the motor, drivetrain and electrical connectors instead of the body beauty kits. It's a full All wheel Drive vehicle.
Some pictures will look very funny.

My truck and car trailered after my post deployment.

Here's about last month pictures. To busy for other things.

I removed the whole engine and transmission for crossmember adjustment. Well I hate that I used the ratcheting harness to lift the engine. Its can hold at least 1000lbs

broke transmission, this was another internal indicator. It could be the bearings.

Nice Job so far only thing I see is he Upper Radiator hose is on wrong. It should not be bent down. The only thing I would change is the front bumper but you did a real good Job on the conversion.
The bumper was just temporary. It didn't come as a package when I bought long time ago. Other than that broken piece on the bottom is just cosmetic. Thanks for the complement.
