I like it but only with the deck lip. Normal lip would look bad IMO

+2 for being "something different" but... I mean wasn't Mitsu's whole premise behind putting the holes where they are in the IX bumper(vs. the VIII Bumper) to better facilitate cooling the ends of the intercooler? So the charged air temps would be a lil cooler?? If I'm way off jus tell me

Even if this was the case, a better aftermarket IC would make up the cooling difference. I don't think that the holes even hit the endtanks on the stock IC.

They don't hit the end tanks, they're meant to cool down the pipes going in and out of the intercooler.

 

Yes, but on a street car that will do near-as-makes-no-difference. It'd be no different than removing the oil cooler on a street car

 

My car will be a DD.... Only sees "Power Cruise" events once a year

I've already got a larger intercooler so no worries there..

But aren't the small holes above necessary to bolt the bumper back on? maybe you figured out a way around it?
