But aren't the small holes above necessary to bolt the bumper back on? maybe you figured out a way around it?
What he ^^^ said. And on the donor bumper, why is there a hole dead center?

interested in seeing the outcome of this. However, as a few have mentioned before, I don't think you should cover up the 2 little holes. How else do you plan to secure the bumper?

^^ haha.... I still have to buy a IX bumper and Varis front fenders before the car goes to the panel beaters. I'm quite broke atm.
The only update I can give any time soon is the fitment of the deck lip over the weekend when I drill out the mounting holes..

I think you just started something.. I can see this spreading like the nose chop.

+1 for doing something out of the box!

that looks clean, i like it, but those holes are there for a purpose and functional, there suppose to help cool the ic pipes/air at the connection points to the intercooler on either side, hence why they are lined up at the connection points of the ic piping to the intercooler

i think the 8 nose chop is a much more dramatic and positive change. This looks fine and Id like to see the real finished product but im kind of indifferent to it. i like the original 9 bumper and the "cleaner' one about the same

that's what she said?

I think he knows, but does that function matter when most of us have aftermarket intercoolers?
I like it, something different. Keep it up.
